THE FLATIRON TECHNOLOGY
The Flatiron combines ANSI Z87+ safety performance with the materials and features you want in sunglasses you can actually wear all day. A polarized polycarbonate lens, anti-fog coating, high-impact BIO G850HI frame and secure 8-base wrap work together for protection, clarity and comfort on the job and beyond.
Lucid S+ uses a polarized polycarbonate lens selected for impact resistance and safety performance. The grey base keeps colors neutral in bright conditions, while polarization helps cut reflected glare from pavement, equipment and other hard surfaces.
Hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings help water, sweat and oils roll off instead of smearing across the lens. Anti-scratch treatment helps handle everyday wear, while anti-fog coating helps maintain a clearer view when heat, sweat and changing temperatures would normally become a distraction.
The Flatiron uses BIO G850HI, a bio-based high-impact polyamide selected for strength, flexibility and shape retention. Snap-Lock hinges use replaceable screws to create a durable, serviceable connection point built for hard use.
The 8-base curve wraps closer around the face for added coverage and a secure feel. No-slip nose and temple pads help keep The Flatiron planted through sweat and movement, while integrated vents promote airflow around the lens.

Great fit on both the hat and the new Flatiron sunglasses. Didn’t fog up in the 104 heat with sauna suit and weighted vest !! Polarizing lens, light weight frame made it feel like I was not wearing anything! Eyes could breathe ! Hat was a must when you are “thinning” on top !! Maybe a white hat in the future- asking for a friend !
Fit a Lil big for a narrow dome and have leaks of sunlight in the taller than needed nose bridge area wich could be softer on the nose 👃 😎 and the highlight is the polarized shaded eye protection and stylized look as they definitely look and feel the part and are worth around 90 but not the full retail price of $+120.00 as I got em for $80 after the $1 price lock start up investment and still feel that i overpaid for a prototype that has a few kinks still that need ironing out.
DSRT nail their first pair of safety sunglasses. Its very comfortable to wear on your head, polarization is great without glare on bright sunny day.
Lens defect. It has blotches on one of the lens on both pair. Nose grips slip. Frame is cheap feeling

Feel premium and they look good however they are bit XL covering the eyebrow to cheek.

Great fit, great style, crystal clear optics! They are also very light but stay in place all day. I can't speak to durability yet as I've had them less than a week but I put them through their paces already...keeping my eyes shaded and protected while running a tractor and chainsaw at work. Most other sunglasses I've tried, both safety-rated and cheapo fishing glasses from that big W store, have hurt my nose and/or ears after a full day, interfered with the way my hat fits, wiggled around or been so bulky they slip down, or get scratched up almost immediately. Or some combination of those things. The Flatiron does none of these. Lightweight and comfortable through a 10-hour shift 100% outside, great clarity and polarization, and look awesome! I will definitely be wearing them outside of work as well.
It arrived as ordered and I started using them for my drives in the Florida sun. I did question if maybe they were a little less tinted than my previous lenses(Ray-Ban Chromance) but I adjusted to it well enough that I don't think it makes much of a difference. Also glad for the durability and warranty, hopefully it will be my last pair of sunglasses for a long while.
