The Phoenix is built with the materials and optical features you expect from high-end performance eyewear. From the polarized nylon lens to the coatings and Eco-Flex frame, every component was selected for clarity, durability and all-day performance.
Lucid+ uses a polarized nylon lens engineered for glass-like clarity without the weight. With an Abbe value of 52, it delivers crisp optics with reduced color fringing, while the impact-resistant nylon construction is built for active, everyday use.
Hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings help water, sweat and oils roll off instead of smearing, keeping your view clearer and making the lenses easier to clean. Anti-scratch treatment helps handle everyday wear, while backside AR reduces distracting reflections from light behind you.
Eco-Flex uses a bio-based resin derived from castor bean oil to deliver the lightweight strength, flexibility and shape retention you expect from high-performance TR90, with less reliance on petroleum-based materials. It’s impact resistant, built to flex and designed to hold its shape through hard use.
Athletic geometry and grip are designed to keep the Phoenix secure through sweat and movement while maintaining comfortable, pressure-free wear.

Well, I found my new favorite sunglasses! Love the look and fit of the Valley Rays Phoenix! I’m a pilot by trade (airlines) and can’t have polarized glasses on the flight deck as it makes viewing some of the displays difficult. The Valley Ray lens are great not only because they’re not polarized, but they also provide higher contrast than my other brand name sunglasses which gives me better field of depth when flying. Bottom line: I LOVE THESE BABIES! Work or leisure, these are now my go-tos!

Huggeeee fan of these sunglasses. I can’t even lie. I’m a person with a bigger head so every pair of sunglasses, I’ve had the past I’ve struggled with mainly because they don’t fit my head. The Phoenix do exactly that. They are a comfortable fit with great lenses. Walks, CrossFit comps, running, biking anything you could do in the outdoors these are a solid choice to go with.
The Phoenix are amazing! Sturdy, comfortable, and they stay in place. The lenses are crystal clear and cover all angles from sun. Going to buy the black pair soon. Way better quality than my Ray Bans and more cost effective. Keep 'em coming!

Crystal clear and made in USA what’s not to like
These are a great pair of shades. If I were to compare them, they’re very similar to what you’d expect from Ray-Ban or Spy sunglasses. Honestly, the weight and quality actually feel more like Oakley. One thing I really appreciate is how comfortably they rest on my nose and over my ears—there’s no pinching or cutting into the skin. Plus, the weight on the bridge of my nose is just right, making them easy to wear for long periods. Overall, I’m really happy with these sunglasses.
The Phoenix is awesome and super comfortable. They fit great with great clarity. They are built great and springs are super strong.
These shades are fantastic! I have a pretty big head so these are the first pair of this style that has fit. The polarized lens are amazing and the matte black frame looks really good with the blue lens. The customer service is top notch, within 1 day I was emailed back about my hinge braking on my first pair. They let me know when the pair I wanted was back in stock and I received my new pair within 2 days in Chandler. Not only are you paying for high class shades at a more than reasonable price with a warranty, but a growing business who cares about their consumers. I highly recommend to all.
Extremely comfy and more importantly they don’t fall off. I use these while working as a landscaper and I absolutely love the way they fit and the way they look. I’ve been consistently choosing to where these over my oakley Holbrooks since I got them. GREAT PAIR OF SUNGLASSES.

Love these sunglasses! The frames are very sturdy and provide a comfortable fit. These mirrored polarized lenses are better than the lenses I am used to from their overpriced competitors. As they say, “Pimpin ain’t easy,” but these glasses make it that much easier.

These sunglasses are my new favorites. I bought them to ware at work specifically so they won’t slide off nose when I get sweaty. Having used these for a few weeks now I can say they are great! The coloring in the interior text is smearing and wearing off, but that’s due to the AZ heat and wearing these all the time. I love the polarization on the lenses and the finish is really good. Just wish the interior writing was done differently, this the 1 star reduction. Overall, definite recommend for anyone looking for a great pair of good looking sunnies especially for those bright sunny SW places!

I've got a head the size of the moon. These shades fit me perfectly, and the frames hug the side of my head. I've looked far and wide for these shades, and I hit the mother lode with Valley Rays!
The Phoenix Model Fits Nice and Comfortably. The lenses are Super Clear. I really like the carrier tube that came with them for keeping the glasses clean and safe when not being worn. Customer Service was great too!

I put these bad boys to the test on a five-hour road trip heading from cloudy Michigan down to the sunny south. I have to say, I feel as though I've never seen everything so clearly. It was like I was suddenly seeing the world in high definition. The tint on these sunglasses is perfect; not too dark so I could keep them on when a cloud blocked the sun, but not so light that I still had to squint in full sun. And they're comfortable too. I almost forgot to take them off when I finally walked inside. Overall, these are the best sunglasses I've ever owned!
These glasses are amazing! The materials and build of the frames are and I can tell they will hold up to heavy use. Lenses have held up to multiple drops so far without any scratches. Love the logo too. My new go to shades!

I’m really impressed with these sunglasses. Style, fit and quality wise, these are easily better than my Oakley’s and on par or better than expensive designer glasses. Then the packaging and attention to detail puts them over the top. Excellent product!
