Lucid+ nylon polarized lenses cut reflected glare and hold color accurate at Abbe 52, the highest optical clarity of any plastic lens material. A backside anti-reflective coating kills the bounce off the inside of the lens, which is what causes eye fatigue on long days.
The frame is bio-resin TR90, over half of it derived from castor plant instead of oil. That material is also why Crystal Sepia exists. Recycled TR90 only comes in black.

This is my second pair of sedonas! I just HAD to have the new tortoise frames. I cannot recommend enough. These sunglasses are the perfect balance of lightweight and sturdy, so I can wear them all day long without even noticing. The trick will be figuring out where to hide them so my husband doesn’t steal them!

My experience was great with Valley Rays! Purchased these from an Instagram ad (which I’m totally a sucker for) and ordered them as I was in the market for a new pair of sunglasses. I was actually sent the wrong pair that I ordered and Anthony DeVito was super cool about it - I reached out with the error and he got me a new pair the next day (he actually personally delivered them to my house since I’m local, so that was pretty awesome). My husband and I received these sunglasses as a gift. I have never owned a pair of sunglasses like these. While wearing them, everything is crystal clear…as if you weren’t wearing glasses! I bought a pair of Valley Rays a couple of months ago. I have been extremely impressed with the quality and clarity of the sunglasses. They are really light on my face and there is no nose fatigue after wearing them after many hours. They are perfect hiking and driving sunglasses. I have owned Oakleys, Ray Bans, and Maui Jims and Valley Rays are every bit as good as those premium brands but at 1/3 to 1/2 the price. I like my first pair so much I just received my second pair yesterday!

These are the absolute best sunglasses! I will not go anywhere without my Sedona’s, especially a Nebraska football game! Incredible fit, great durability, and the lenses are better quality than any other pair of sunglasses I’ve ever owned. I would highly recommend!
My husband has always been very picky about his glasses. I ordered him a pair and failed to realize I actually ordered two. He has now made these his full time glasses over the other well known brand. These glasses are his go to for all outdoor activities as well. The best part about them is the price point, we have spent much more on less superior glasses in my opinion. Glad I found you guys
the comfort is the first thing you will notice when you put them on. I've had mine since they launched and just got my 2nd pair. They're just as comfortable as day 1 and still in perfect condition despite me dropping them off the top of my head pretty regularly and sitting on them a few times.

I’ve had a number of pairs of sunglasses over the last few years. All ranging from $30-$100. These are the best lenses you can get for the money. The fit is also fantastic. I’m looking forward to more new styles from them.
Always love my Valley Rays. I bought the Phoenix earlier this year, and the Sedona is for my dad for Christmas! I have a pair of Maui Jims and Costas, and these are just as good, and honestly better, for less than half the price

This is my first pair of polarized sunglasses and they are a GAME CHANGER! I am out in the sun pretty often, either on the trails or on the water and these have been so good to me. Purchased these at a local Phoenix event back in 2024 & absolutely love my sunglasses! My current faves were heavy & causing me to get a headache, but these are lightweight & the polarization is perfect for that Phoenix sun. Recently in 2025, I came across Valley Rays at another local event & my nose piece pad was in need of a glue. Since the original pair I purchased (rose gold) were limited edition, they instead gave me a whole brand new pair!! I can’t wait to take my new pair out now & I still wear my originals. My best friend from out of town loved my sunglasses so much she even ordered a pair herself! They are a perfect fit & have lasted longer than any other pair I have owned (you can even squish in a bag or sit on them & they will remain in perfect condition)!

The Sedona is my second pair of Valley Rays. I also have a pair of the Phoenix! I love both styles and always get compliments on whichever pair I wear that day. A few of my friends have purchased the Sedona as well and have mentioned comfort as their number one favorite reason they wear them. I think they are stylish and I will more than likely purchase another pair with different color of frames.
Love the brown frame Sedona’s! Quality light filtration even on super hot Arizona days. Comfortable nose bridge (is that what it’s called?) and shape for my head - I know that’s subjective, but I have a hard time with this normally. Shop local and buy these, not Ray Bans!!
